John Danner Attorney Profile
John Danner has been practicing as an attorney since 1979, assisting clients in a variety of legal issues. Presently he concentrates his practice on estate planning, probate, real estate, and mediation of family law matters and other types of civil litigation.
Historically, Mr. Danner served as a Court Commissioner in Oneida County for nearly thirty years. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Iowa, the U.S. Federal Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and the Tribal Court of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.
He served on the Board of Directors of Wisconsin Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company from 1998 until 2022, serving in various roles including the audit committee and the executive committee. He is active in the State Bar of Wisconsin, having served on its Board of Governors, Finance Committee and as Treasurer.
In addition, he has been a member of the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association since 1979 and has served in all officer capacities.
He earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1979 and his undergraduate degree from Loras College in 1972. He undertook graduate study in communication behavior from West Virginia University.
