John Danner has been an attorney since 1979. Mr. Danner assists clients in a variety of legal issues including divorce, child support, custody and visitation, debtor and creditor issues, construction law, insurance defense, legal, medical, and professional malpractice law, ethics and professional responsibility, personal injury, litigation and appeals, landlord tenant matters, real estate law, and professional liability errors and omissions insurance defense.  In addition, he is regularly appointed by the Circuit Court Bench to mediate family law cases involving custody disputes and property division issues. Mr. Danner is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, Iowa, the U.S. Federal Court, the U.S. District Court Western District of Wisconsin, and the Tribal Court of the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.

Mr. Danner has been a member of the Minocqua Lions Club since 1983.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of Wisconsin Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company, and currently sits on the audit and investment committees. He has previously sat on the executive committee. 

He served on the board of directors of the Northwoods Wildlife Center, Inc. from 1979 - 1989, and as president for six years.  He has also served as a Court Commissioner since 1988 and belongs to the Oneida / Vilas / Forest Counties Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and Iowa State Bar Association.   He serves as a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Bench Bar Committee. He recently completed nine years of service on the District 16 Investigative Committee of the Office of Lawyer Regulation and its predecessor, the Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility.

Mr. Danner earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law.  He also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
